The Surrey 'puma' (although clearly not the same animal seen in the 1960s and '70s) has been seen again. On Sunday 23rd October 2011 at 9:00pm a chap named Tim was driving on the A25 when a 3-4 ft long animal, light coloured, and sporting a very long tail, ran across the road between Westcott and Dorking.
I saw a big cat one night just 10 mins outside Bramley surrey, it jump off a high bank into the narrow country lane I was driving down, it was about 10 to 12 ft in front of my car, in one bound it jumped up and on to the opposite bank, and gone, it was so fast, but I know what I saw, no one believed me, if I had been going faster I would have run it down, thought at the time wow it took a risk that was close I could have hit it. date mid 1984 time between 12.00 -1.00 am ..... looked like a puma it was big .....
